Unknown Canadian Photo

Amongst some old family photos I've found one which means little to me.

It shows a man, a woman and a small child beside a car. On the car's spare wheel it seems to say Western Motors Ltd, Swift Current.

On the back of the photo is written "Dore Bob Wife" - I think.

It's also got a photographer's stamp - "Ward's Photo Studio - Rosetown SASK." and the date "SEP 10 1931". Although this is a little faded.

It's possible that the family name is Bye - there is a family story of one of my grandfather's brothers going to Canada.

There are three versions of the picture available.

A small thumbnail (17KB)

A larger compressed image (163KB)

The larger image, but not compressed (901KB)

There is also a large image (924KB) of what's on the back of the photo.
